Quinceañera Invitation Wording: Religious, Short, Elegant and Bilingual Ideas

By Lorena Flores · · 3 min read

The quinceañera invitation is the first glimpse guests get of the celebration, and a few well-chosen words set the tone: religious, elegant, playful or bilingual. Here are original wording ideas you can copy or adapt, plus the details every invitation needs.

What to include on the invitation

  • The quinceañera's full name (with one or both last names, as the family prefers).
  • Her parents' names and, if you like, the padrinos (sponsors).
  • Date and time of the Mass of thanksgiving, with the church name and address.
  • Time and place of the reception.
  • Dress code, if any (for example "formal" or "black tie").
  • How and by when to RSVP.
  • Registry or money-gift details (on a separate card or on the back).

If your invitation has a back side, use the front for the phrase, her name and the date, and the back for addresses, padrinos and RSVP. It looks much cleaner.

Religious wording

  • With God's blessing and the love of my parents, I invite you to celebrate my fifteenth birthday.
  • I thank God for every year of my life and would love to share this special day with you.
  • Please join us for a Mass of thanksgiving and a celebration in honor of her quinceañera.
  • Hand in hand with God, I reach my fifteenth year. Join me to give thanks and celebrate.
  • With a heart full of faith and joy, I hope to see you at the Mass celebrating my quinceañera.

Short wording

  • My quinceañera. Save me a dance.
  • Fifteen years, one dream: celebrating with you.
  • A night to remember: my fifteenth.
  • I'm turning fifteen and I want you there.
  • My quince wouldn't be the same without you.

Wording from the parents

  • With pride and gratitude, we invite you to celebrate our daughter's quinceañera.
  • Fifteen years ago she filled our lives with joy. Please join us in celebrating our daughter.
  • Our little girl is becoming a young woman, and we want to share this moment with you.
  • With God's blessing, her parents and padrinos invite you to celebrate her fifteenth birthday.

Elegant wording

  • Some moments happen only once. I invite you to share mine.
  • Surrounded by light, music and the people I love most, I'll celebrate my fifteenth birthday. Your presence will make it complete.
  • One chapter full of memories ends and another full of dreams begins. Celebrate with me.
  • One night, one gown, one waltz and the people I love. All that's missing is you.

Bilingual wording

If your family speaks Spanish and English, set the phrase in both languages, one under the other. For example:

  • Te invito a celebrar mis XV años. / I invite you to celebrate my quinceañera.
  • Con la bendición de Dios y el amor de mis padres. / With God's blessing and the love of my parents.
  • Una noche para recordar. / A night to remember.

To lay out the whole invitation in two languages, see our bilingual invitations guide.

Tips for wording that reads well

  • One phrase, not three. A single short, well-placed phrase looks more elegant.
  • Spell out the date: "Saturday, November 14, 2027" reads better than "11/14/27".
  • Read it out loud to catch typos, especially in padrinos' names.
  • On acrylic, less is more: the material already shines, so leave space around the text. Learn about the finishes in our acrylic guide.
